Squigs Marks John Lloyd Young’s Red Hot Return as Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys

John Lloyd Young is back on Broadway as Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys, the role that garnered him a 2006 Tony Award for Best Actor. The musical tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest pop music sensations of all time. Penning hit songs like “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What A Night,” “Walk Like A Man,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and “Working My Way Back To You,” the fab foursome sold 175 million records worldwide before they were 30 years old. To mark Young’s three-month return engagement, Broadway.com resident artist Justin ‘Squigs’ Robertson took a trip to the August Wilson Theatre and returned with a pitch perfect portrait of (top to bottom) Quinn VanAntwerp as Bob Gaudio, Matt Bogart as Nick Massi, Andy Karl as Tommy DeVito and Young as Valli.
